Case Attorney - ​Demetria Norris

Demetria Norris joined the Illinois Torture Inquiry and Relief Commission in January 2021 and is currently serving as a Case Attorney.  Mrs. Norris has been licensed to practice law since November 2007, starting as a Guardianship Attorney, and later as an Arbitrator for the Illinois Courts in Cook and Will Counties.  Prior to Mrs. Norris practicing law, she worked in social services involving domestic violence prevention, child abuse and neglect, as well as adjudicating claims of persons with disabilities.
