Supervising Attorney - Luana Montoya

Luana Montoya has dedicated her career's work to public service and government. She is a lifelong Chicagoan, having left only to attend college at Harvard University, where she studied government, and then law school at the University of Illinois. Luana began her legal career as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the City of Chicago's Department of Law. She then went on to the City Council and the Department of Finance, serving in claims administration and legislative director roles. In joining the Commission in 2020, Luana looks forward to applying her dedication to public service to its mission.
